Lundoch Diagnostics was founded in Dec 2020, a spin-off MedTech company from Lund University, Sweden. The Founder and CEO is Dr. Yang De Marinis, a prominent global diabetes researcher and an experienced entrepreneur. Lundoch developed LDcoder®, the first and only technology in the world that detects diabetes risk in an individual by AI-driven blood test at least 4 years before diagnosis.

Yang De Marinis also holds several academic positions including Associate Professor in diabetes functional genomics at Lund University (Sweden); Professor in AI-clinical application at Shandong University (China); and Researcher in pancreatic islet physiology and spatial transcriptomics at the University of Oxford (UK). Furthermore, Yang De Marinis is also the Regional Coordinator and Board Member at Diabetes Sverige (Diabetes Sweden).
