Description of the structure
Expertise(s) of my company
Magic Trailz is a developed TRL level 6 app aimed at encouraging children and families to be more active by exploring their public surroundings through gamification. Upon downloading the app, users embark on a treasure hunt, searching for pictures of the environment and finding them. Discovering local locations unlocks augmented reality experiences supported by videos. Children can collect their experiences and share them on social media once they have completed the hunt.
The app’s functionalities allow for the integration of different domains such as health, nature, culture, and leisure. As an example, we are currently collaborating with a book writer to activate public parks, bridging the connection between culture and nature within the context of physical activity. This initiative enables children to engage with their local stories while being physically active outdoors.
The proposal primarily targets B2B partnerships. Magic Trailz primarily serves municipalities by activating their surroundings, but also recognizes potential opportunities with leisure parks. Content creation often involves collaboration with local experts, including book writers, activity facilitators, and sports coaches.
Magic Trailz aims to create and test more content, leveraging nature and nature education to motivate children to play outside. Additionally, we plan to research additional functionalities to encourage repeated use of the app and stimulate users to explore and engage in various areas. To achieve this, they seek local stakeholders with expertise in the specific region and a good understanding of nature. Collaborating with these stakeholders, Magic Trailz can develop new, scalable outdoor treasure hunt routes for children, conduct content testing, explore new functionalities, and strengthen their overall business model.
Areas of cooperation sought
Magic Trailz is seeking partners with a focus on outdoor nature who can develop new content with an educational background and relevance to nature.
Partners who can effectively utilize the user data generated from the routes will be highly beneficial. This includes analyzing user reactions to content, identifying peak usage periods, and evaluating the overall impact of the intervention.
Regions of interest include Scandinavian countries such as Sweden and Finland, known for their abundant natural landscapes. France also presents itself as a potential region of interest.
