Taking advantage of an ongoing project at a major cancer research center, we designed and developed an intelligent prescription system fully integrated with the clinical system, the patient application and very shortly with pharmacies and home delivery services.

The solution not only has enormous clinical value, but by enabling an automatic registration process in the patient’s application, where a connection is shared creating a new “point of care” and establishing a meaningful ongoing connection between doctor and patient, OVANTIS together with partners can, on top of this platform, add new features and new business models that are scalable, perfectly adaptable to international markets.

It will be at this new “point of care” that we intend to establish a continuous and meaningful connection between the clinical system, the physician, and the patient, upon which we can add new features and new business models that are scalable, perfectly adaptable to international markets, easy for patients and physicians to adopt and always with clinical value.

Our solution is already certified by the IT authority of the Portuguese Ministry of Health and the National Authority of Medicines and Health Products, following international standards and is fully aligned with European Digital Health initiatives.

After OVANTIS established and consolidated its business in the Portuguese market, after our solution was adopted by the main private Portuguese players such as Luz Saúde, Champalimaud Foundation Research Center, and after we are providing services to a public hospital such as Hospital Beatriz Angelo, with strong possibilities to expand our services, we believe that this is the moment to leverage and expand our healthcare solutions to other countries.

The possibility of moving from a B2B model to a B2C model, where the target consumer will be physicians who treat patients with cancer, Rehabilitation patient and chronic diseases,
In this model, each doctor will be the promoter and disseminator of the use of the system, creating a network of patients capable of generating value and revenue

Insufficient information and communication about patient compliance with their rehabilitation treatment plan and consequent difficulty for clinical staff to measure patient medication adherence. Going beyond the hospital doors, gaps and lack of information in the clinical system about interactions outside the hospital visits, patient concerns, adverse reactions, complaints, and health habits at home are important problems to address.

The system enable effective reconciliation of outpatient medications and treatment information, by support, motivate and providing full transparency, for patients and clinical team, at every step on their Rehabilitation treatment journey, while reducing waste and cost by managing vitais, exercices, medication stock at the patient’s home, avoiding over-prescribing, measuring treatment adherence, tracking patient medication and refill requests.
